UseGIS was established to provide web development services for small companies who want to utilise GIS technology to its full potential but without paying the huge fees normally associated with GIS consultancy.

With over 35 years IT experience and 30 years GIS experience, we've been involved in some of the most exciting, cutting-edge and award-winning GIS applications over the last 15 years - often pushing the boundaries of what people thought was possible.

In that time, technology has changed apace and we've kept up-to-date by using the latest ideas and techniques available.

Open Source

We're deliberately not tied to use specific and often expensive software. Instead we prefer to use "best of breed" open source technologies wherever possible. This not only gives the greatest flexibility, it also costs much less than traditional "off-the-shelf" software.
